Mid-Atlantic Mothers’ Milk Bank is a nonprofit milk bank which serves neonatal intensive care units and medically fragile outpatient babies in PA, WV, NJ, MD, and DE. The milk bank collects milk from carefully screened volunteer donors and the milk itself is tested and pasteurized before distribution.

Current Opportunities:

Milk Donor Screener
Mid-Atlantic Mothers’ Milk Bank

As a Milk Donor Screener, you’ll play a key role in managing the screening and donation process for our generous milk donors. This role includes:

  • Conducting phone interviews and guiding donors through the donation process
  • Reviewing medical forms and ensuring accurate completion
  • Managing blood screening and educating donors on the donation process
  • Coordinating milk shipments, drop-offs, and receiving donated milk
  • Supporting bereaved donor families with care and compassion
  • Assisting with community outreach and events

Your attention to detail, empathy, and communication skills will be essential in ensuring the safety of the milk we collect.
