I’m a respiratory therapist and have worked in NICU in the past. When I was pregnant with Anna the goal was to breastfeed her for 6 months. Now we’re almost at 9 months! I can’t even believe it. When she was 6 months at the goal mark, I looked at my freezer full of milk. I knew I wanted to donate it. I’m making plenty for her and we are more than willing to share. It warms my heart knowing it’s going to a baby in need and giving them a fair chance at life. Every baby deserves a chance. I would do this again if I ever have another miracle.
