Mom and 3 children

Caitlin – A Donor Story

My oldest child was a NICU baby. While I was able to pump enough milk, I saw many families where the opposite was true. With my second and third babies, I decided to donate milk. After becoming a milk donor, my mom (a twin) shared that she and her sister had been milk donation recipients as newborns. There are so many things to learn and worry about when your baby is sick. I hope my donation makes it so that the availability of healthy human milk is one less thing for medical staff and families to worry about.
